Here to visit my son. I wish they had places like this when I was in my early 20s. The apartment itself is modern and stylish. The property amenities are awesome! Heated salt water pool, fire pit, grills around the property, well-equipped gym, painting room, work spaces. We played corn hole yesterday after getting out of the pool. I felt like I was on a resort!
My boyfriend and I toured a 1 bedroom/1 bath and we had a really wonderful experience. Shawna is absolutely hysterical, we ended up sitting in the leasing office for an hour just chatting. She is not only a great personality, but is also super knowledgeable, caring, and good at her job. While we didn't end up leasing here, I would recommend it to others. The apartment was beautiful and spacious, the gym was awesome, and it felt very cozy/homey. Thank you, Shawna, for your authenticity and helping us navigate a typically stressful life event (moving).
I’ve been living in this complex for over 4 years and I love it! The leasing agent Nicolette is fantastic, she has been a big help to me and my family. The area is safe and relatively cheap compared to other similar properties. We moved here to be closer to my daughters school and the lynx station for my commute to work, and we have couldn’t be happier! Would recommend to anyone who’s looking.
had the absolute worst and unprofessional encounter with your employees that work in Worthington Apartments and Townhomes leasing office.
Shawny Gil and Hendi Echterling treated me terribly. I applied and scheduled a tour and was told I can come tour at 12:30. I left work and drove 30 minutes for the tour. I got there and was immediately told I could not tour and my application can no longer be processed due to an email address error! Absolutely insane! Disgusting hags that were uneducated
I have only lived here for about two weeks, but so far, I love it!
I was not able to afford a two-bedroom, which I hoped for, but hey... Charlotte rent is ridiculous everywhere. Even then, I feel like I got a pretty good deal on a one-bedroom! I was disappointed about it at first because it's a downsize for me, but the whole apartment is surprisingly huge! Somehow, it's bigger than my old place. I moved here from out of state, so I had my parents do a tour on FaceTime and the video didn't do it justice to be honest. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw the place in person for the first time!
At first, I was concerned about potential noise, since it's right next to Harris Blvd, but somehow, it's very quiet. All of the time. I haven't been to the gym yet, but the pool is really nice!
My first week, I had one maintenance issue, which is that the ceiling fan in the living room wasn't working. I put in a work order for it and I kid you not, I got a knock on the door from maintenance ten minutes later. Turns out the chain was twisted on the inside and he fixed it in like two minutes. His name is Alex and he was great! At my old place, I was lucky to get maintenance to show up within a month.
Nicolette and Shawna in the office are also really great! Nicolette was the one who was helping me get everything set up. It was a frustrating process for me because I had issues getting my job offer letter in time (which they needed for approval), and I was coming in from out of state, so I really appreciate Nicolette doing everything she could to make sure that the move happened as smoothly as possible.
To prove this is a legit review, I can mention a few minor down-sides, although it's basically just me being picky. First thing is that I do wish that the porch was bigger. It fits two chairs and a small table, so if you don't need anything bigger than that, you're good. I am just bummed because have this hammock chair that you have to install from the ceiling and unfortunately, I can't use it here. The other thing is that the bedroom window is right by the breezeway where people walk, so I prefer to keep the blinds down. Aside from those two things, I honestly can't think of any other negatives at this time.
While two weeks is not a lot of time, I can honestly say that so far, this is probably in my top three places I've rented! (I've rented at a lot of places).
Never in my life have I had an experience with a leasing agent who is as attentive and as caring as Nicolette. She exudes a welcoming and friendly manner that makes her easy to talk to and allows her to, and be of great assistance shes made my stay in the Worthington apartments very enjoyable and anytime there’s an issue she addresses them immediately.
I’ve been WAITING to write a review on this skid row excuse of a housing development called Worthington Apartments & Townhomes. I’ll keep it quick. WOULD HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE. Proceed at your own risk if you want to deal with management who has no idea what they’re doing when it comes to actually working there. When I first began dealing with this complex Karen was a leasing agent there who received many negative reviews and I got the chance first hand to see why. She was all over the place to say the least and she didn’t last long because of her incompetency. We were charged amenity fees for no real reason other than “you signed your lease after the 25th of the month so now we’re tacking on an additional $65 a month on your rent” RIDICULOUS. Shawna is the rudest “leasing agent” I’ve ever encountered in my 13 years of leasing and has even further pushed me to buying a home so I’ll NEVER have to deal with someone who treats residents like an unwanted stepchild. She yells at tenants, has no true regard for anyone besides herself and made my living experience there HELL. Oh how I hope Heidi, the “property manager” also reads this review as she also has ZERO regard for tenants and treats people like children. We were charged an additional $350 to fix broken tile in a bathroom that was already cracked when we moved in! They didn’t even care to look at the move in sheet to compare and see if this was already listed, they just decided they were smarter than us and thought that mess would fly. Upon questioning the property manager about why the move in sheet was not referenced, low and behold they don’t even have it on file! Oh I wonder why KAREN or SHAWNA. Like I stated… A MESS living here. Trash everywhere and I won’t even get into the project pat residents. I will never recommend this travesty of an apartment complex to anyone EVER.
Oh how I’ve been waiting to write my review on this travesty of an traphouse disguised as an apartment complex. From the day I applied with the warped so called assistance from the now former leasing agent known as Karen, it was just a …
